Breaking Dawn Location at the Orpheum Theater in Vancouver

Here are some images I took this morning of production setting up at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Vancouver.  They are scheduled to shoot multiple scenes for the upcoming Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn.
The Orpheum is a beautiful theater often used for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and other musical groups.

Nope, i believe they are filming possibly the Edward flashback. All of the extras that came out of the theatre today were wearing 20's or 30's attire.

I just read your rant on twitter regarding how the actors did not wave hello at you, I mean the fans that waited outside the theatre. Do really expect them to do that when you know the movie has been filmed on lock down this whole time? When you say they could have at least wave, do you realize they're pretty much encouraging these people to follow them around as they attempt to finish filming that darn movie? From the security perspective, it's not smart do these little gestures especially with voracious fans lined up for hours, cos the next thing you know, they will do the same thing at their next set inviting more crowd in. I understand that fans deserve acknowledgment but it is definitely a little risky doing that knowing the level of intensity their fans can get. One little gesture like that can snowball into completely different effects than what was intended. Not to be paranoid about it, but it has happened in the past. I mean if you think about the kinds of fans they notoriously have, one little wave won't just cut it, they're gonna want more. Of course, people are initially gonna whine and say "all we want is a wave" but when they do get that wave, you know someone is gonna say "what?! That's it?!!! I waited for hours and all they can do is wave?!!" so there's just no winning for these actors in general. Might as well follow security guidelines and keep to themselves. It doesn't leave a good impression but either way, they'll never win anyhow. Plus, it has been known that rob especially Kristen do not know how to maneuver a crowd to begin with. In fact they have admitted countless of times that they get scared of the overwhelming energy thrust upon them when they are exposed to such setting. Besides, I just can't imagine them waving like a tool to fans randomly. Promotion is one thing but there should always be a right time and setting for that. Regardless of whether they are big stars or not, they never ask/want to draw attention to themselves from the get go. Waving to people whom they will never know as fans or paps or anyone who constantly take advantage of their celebrity selling them to the tabs, is definitely going against the grain. There were times when they let go and interact with fans somehow, but then those fans end up selling that story of their little interaction to tabs and ultimately the tabs then make up a whole entire BS out of that. These days they seem to have learned to be vigilant in keeping themselves from that toxic environment. it's never easy to do that with their status as celebrities but I applaud them for trying, even if it ruins their PR. I mean all things considered, who can blame them. Certainly not I. In fact I admire them even more for smartly recognizing the potential effects and the chain reaction those little gestures can lead to. It easy to slam them for doing that at face value, but the truth of the matter is, they are merely trying their best to protect their sanity, as they know how. lucky for us we never have to fight so much to claim that little peace of mind.
